Is your wedding ring stuck on your finger after so many years?
This medical trick is the simple solution to the problem. Hand and finger injuries are among the most common in the world.
From a gash or cut, to a simple sprain, these are frustrating and can be quite painful. (I should know, I have the marks on my own hand to prove it).
However, when it comes to survival situations, your hands and feet can be the deciding factor for many.
For those with a wedding ring, things can go awry quickly.
The blood circulation ceases when it is stuck, possibly resulting in losing your finger.
My friend Nick from prepcabin.com sent me this quick video showing a simple trick to help get it off. Check it out below.
“Every once in a while the ring gets stuck on my finger. Although I live only 20 minutes from an ER, I don’t want to lose it. Soap or other lubricants have been a few quick fixes I have used over the years, but this may cause damage to tissues in the finger. And, with too much swelling, this won’t work either!
This Facebook video, Ring stuck on finger? Here’s a trick to remove it, is one I recently came across.”

Editor note – I would like to thank Nick for this video, as a stuck ring is a fear of mine.
